The Three Peaks Family of Schools
Settle College is a member of the Three Peaks Family of Schools along with our feeder middle and primary schools. This group operates two key plans for securing the education of young people within the North Craven area. North Craven covers the communities of Settle, Ingleton, Bentham, Hellifield, Long Preston, Rathmell and Wigglesworth, Horton-in Ribblesdale, Low Bentham, Langcliffe, Stainforth, Keasden, Newby, Clapham, Austwick, Burton in Lonsdale.

The North Craven Locality Plan was set up in 2006. It provides funding for time for the 14 Heads to meet and work together to enhance learning opportunities. Specific projects include:
Transition events to ease the difficulties students experience when transferring from primary to middle school and middle school to the college
Support for teachers from different schools to plan work together to ensure consistency and good progression across the cluster
Funding for joint training on issues such as performance management, closing the gap between boys' and girls' achievement and improving literacy skills
