Nara High School has a lot of clubs. For example, ESS, Archery club, Soft tennis club, Baseball club, Brass band club, Kendo club…and so on.
Today, we will introduce some of them.
First, I (Kagawa) will tell you about the ESS club. The ESS is an English Speaking Society. We have two or three club meetings a week. With the ALT, Assistant Language Teacher, we practise pronunciation to speak English more fluently.
Second, Archery club. I (Mori) am a member of the Archery Club. We practice archery after school daily. Archery is difficult, but we love archery. We love our team mates very much. We shoot arrows toward the target everyday to become the best players in Japan.
Third, soft tennis club. I (Fukase) am in the soft tennis club. I have played it since I was a junior high school student. We practice everyday. We are very friendly. In June, we have a game. So I’ll try to do my best.
Finally, I (Ishiyama) will tell you about volleyball club. We play volleyball for about two hours after school everyday. And on weekends we usually practice for three or four hours. Although that is very hard for me, it is a lot of fun. It feels good to sweat! Thank you.
