Joint Fundraising Summer Concert
Settle College, Settle Middle and Rathmell primary school hosted a sell out joint concert, to raise funds to enable each of the schools' music departments to buy new musical equipment. The concert was a huge hit with the school hall packed to capacity. The audience were treated to a large number of musical items from soloists, as well as singing and instrumental ensembles, all of which were of a high standard. All the students did fantastically well, and very brave in most cases to perform a solo in front of such a large audience for the first time. They were a credit to their school and to their peripatetic teachers.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported us in this; it was a highly enjoyable evening.
