Well done and thank you to all those students and staff involved in the SETTLE COLLEGE CLOTHES SHOW on the 3rd October 2008. Everyone involved, from outside the school, traders and public alike, congratulated and thanked us on a fantastic fashion show and shopping evening and compliments have been flooding in about the fabulous work and brilliant behaviour shown by our students.
The highlight of the evening has to be the fashion show that was managed by Maisie Thistlethwaite, Robert Rushton and Evie Hirst and presented by local well known DJ, Elaine Ward.
The first catwalk slot was children’s wear, with Pigtails, and our younger guests loved being around the older students! Then, our Settle College models did a professional job showing off the latest collections from Nuffin 2 Wear, Car & Kitchen and Hannah’s Dream Wedding Boutique. In between the catwalk sets, we had an engaging and well produced dance performance featuring Jenny Hayes and Michelle Charnley.
After the success of the very first Settle College Clothes Show, we are intending to host another one next year. Students, staff and parents alike, please let Mrs Partridge know if you would like to be involved!
