Success at Cross Country Championships

Eight Settle College students represented the school at the qualifying rounds of the English Schools’ Cross Country Championships on Wednesday 16th November.  The weather was wet, windy and cold but that did not faze our students.  Their grit, determination and will to succeed paid off and all students should be extremely proud of their efforts and results.

Beth Roberts (Year 7) had a fantastic run and won her race!  An amazing achievement.  She was presented with her medal by the Olympic 1500 metre finalist, Laura Weightman.
