There have been various careers related activities and presentations over the last week, and Settle College would like to thank all the visitors for their valued input and support:
- A Paramedic from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service visited College on 25th November. Year 11 students were advised about the various pathways into a career as a paramedic, plus and insight into the day to day aspects of the job.
- On 26th November, a visitor from Settle Library talked about volunteering opportunities for Sixth Formers.
- Former student Richard Howson, CEO of Carillion, returned once again on 2nd December, talking to students from years 7, 8, 9 and 10 on raising aspirations. Richard also delivered a Business Studies lesson to Year 13.
- Lancaster and Morecambe College visited on 3rd December to inform students on Post 16 opportunities at L&M, and hand out prospectuses.
